If you're a fan of riding the Lake Casitas loop, be aware that the county recently restriped the limit lines on Santa Ana near the lake.  They carved a rumble strip into the line so what looks like a smooth white line separating the driver from the cyclist is actually a slight drop off with rumble strip in the middle and a lip on both the left and the right edge of the white line. Definitely a hazard anytime you're transitioning from one side of the white limit line to the other. Hard to see with the naked eye. Heads up!
